The ILEA workshop was a transformative experience for me. I had always admired those who could speak spontaneously with confidence and fluency, and now, thanks to this workshop, I am one of them. The program dramatically boosted my ability to communicate without fear, a change I deeply appreciate.

Working collaboratively with a team became second nature to me, and the storytelling exercises were particularly thrilling. They pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me discover a new way of expressing myself.

One of the most impactful aspects was the character assessment. It provided insights into my strengths and weaknesses, highlighting areas for improvement. I learned how our thoughts shape our character and how expressing gratitude can deepen and enhance our relationships.

I am determined to apply these lessons in my daily life. I extend my heartfelt thanks to the mentors, whose expertise made the workshop both educational and enjoyable, and to the college management for organizing such a remarkable program.

I feel lucky to be a family member of Sri Vishu Educational Society, which recognized the importance of the holistic approach towards Education. The programmes conducted by VEDIC helped us to design our teaching sessions, emphasizing more on the course outcome. In VEDIC, I attended various workshops like Scientific Educational Practices, Inspire-Impact-Introspect Levels 1 and 2, Think- Technology – Transform and Research Readiness Strategies. These programmes taught us the tools and strategies for Active Learning implementation, and thus engaging the students also in the Teaching- Learning process. The award for the ‘Best Teaching Practices’ which VEDIC Team accorded based on the presentations made in the first Faculty Colloquium, encouraged me to have more interest in implementing the strategies learnt. I feel happy and proud to say that I’m a part of the Teaching Quality Team, which make me feel more responsible towards the teaching process.

The workshop ‘Research Readiness Strategies’ happened when I just enrolled for PhD. The sessions helped me to understand the preparatory steps and practices that researchers should undertake while taking up their research projects. Starting from developing a research mindset, the programme addressed the frequent questions like how to do literature survey, how to plan project stages and how to publish the research works.

Now I have completed works related to my PhD course and is awarded the Doctoral degree. Also, a journal paper is getting ready based on the strategies which were implemented in the classrooms. I’m deeply indebted to the guidance by VEDIC in this regard. Also I express my sincere gratitude to Sri Vishu Educational Society for dedicating a centre, focusing exclusively on the Personal & Professional development of Students and Faculty.
