Educational Qualification
Work Experience
Since 2013, he has developed and offered various faculty development initiatives throughout India, with the Indo-Universal Collaboration for Engineering Education (IUCEE). Since 2017 he has continued offering programs on teaching and learning, accreditation, curriculum development and research, so far covering about 2000 faculty in 30 unique offerings till now.
Between 2016 and 2017, he was Chief Product Officer with IntelliEd Innovations, a visual media education technology startup. From 2011 to 2016, as the lead combustion engineer with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, he developed innovative technologies to improve the fuel economy and performance of a high volume V6 gasoline engine. Prior to this, between 2002 and 2010, he taught at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Purdue University School of Engineering at IUPUI. His 2009 ASEE (American Society for Engineering Education) Conference paper on Project-Based Learning in Introductory Thermodynamics was recognized as an ‘Outstanding Contribution to Mechanical Engineering Education’.
He is a certified Heartfulness meditation trainer (since 2018) and practitioner (since 1997). He lives in Hyderabad with his family and is driven to bridge the gap between industry requirements and actual skill-based outcomes of graduating students, and believes that this can be achieved through faculty empowerment, academic leadership and holistic student and parental education.
