Work Experience
Dr. Raju AEDLA is a Research Scientist and an academician, working as Dean – Research and Development since 2022 at Vishnu Educational Development and Innovation Centre (VEDIC), Sri Vishnu Educational Society (SVES), Hyderabad, INDIA.
He joined as a Research Scientist at Global Center for Natural Resources Sciences, Kumamoto University, Kumamoto, Japan after his completion of Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the Kumamoto University in Japan. He graduated and post graduated from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad, India in 2007 and 2009 respectively. He completed his Ph.D. from National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal in the area of Remote Sensing in 2014. He worked as an Assistant Professor at KL University, Vijayawada and Associate Professor at Malla Reddy Engineering College (A), Hyderabad, India.
He is an Adjunct Lecturer at Kochi University of Technology (KUT), Japan; Visiting Associate Professor at Linton University College (LUC), Malaysia and ‘International Fellow’ at GEOTROPIK Center, University Technology Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia. He is an Adjunct Professor at Vel Tech University, Chennai; and Karunya University, Coimbatore, India.
He is a Visiting Faculty of Department of Civil Engineering at Andalas University, Indonesia. He is also a Visiting Associate Professor at NSN College of Engineering and Technology, Karur, Tamil Nadu, India.
He is a book chapter author for “How to become a Researcher?” published by Cafet-Innova Technical Society. He published 30+ technical papers in high impact factor journals and indexed conference proceedings. He is a reviewer for Elsevier, Springer, MDPI, Willey, and IEEE Journals. He organized 35+ International Conferences and Workshops in association with various universities and institutions in India and abroad.
He received Green Environment Award during ICETE-2010 by Shri. Rajendra Singh (popular as ‘Waterman of India’) and also received TWO Young Scientist Awards in 3rd WCSET-2014 and 3rd ICEE 2016. He also received “Research Excellence Award” at ICAEIT-2017, Malaysia.
He is presently associated with HIRATA Corporation, For Delight Co. Ltd., Kochi University of Technology, Kumamoto University, Kagoshima University, and Saga University (Japan); Burapha University and Chiba University (Thailand); University Malaysia Kelantan, Centre of Tropical Geoengineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Linton University College (Malaysia); Andalas University, Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo and Universitas Sam Ratulangi (Indonesia); Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (Vietnam), University Peradeniya (Sri Lanka), and Mandaley University (Myanmar), Feng Chia University (Taiwan).
His current research interests are Geospatial Modelling, Satellite Digital Image Processing, Remote Sensing, GIS, Satellite/UAV multi-spectral Image Acquisition and Analysis, Species Distribution Modelling, Machine Learning, and Internet of Things (IoTs).
